Queens rapper Ja Rule is less than a month away from beginning his two-year prison sentence for his attempt to purchase a weapon after a 2007 concert, and he's already planning the tour that follows his release.
Ja is currently scheduling a '40 Day/40 Nights Around the World' tour after his two-year sentence.
I want the bus to come straight to the prison and take me to my first show, said Ja to Rap-up.com. Put my family on the bus, have them come to the first few cities, send them back home, and let me keep going.
The rapper anticipates his readiness: It'll be international; 40 cities in 40 nights. I'll be so fresh and ready to go.
After two years in prison, Rule will have plenty of new product for his tour to add to his upcoming album release of Pain is Love 2 on June 7; a day after his sentence starts. The album is the sequel to his triple platinum album from 2001. To make up for lost time, the rapper has worked ahead, and will drop another album labeled The Renaissance Project at a later, unknown date.
Pain Is Love 2 will be released on the web, in the store, and also as a smartphone application as a living album. According the Rap-up.com, after purchasing the app, smartphone users will be able to add new songs, videos and remixes to their smartphone.
