Here we go again. You know what it is. Real recognize real. We've seen a lot of emcees come and go in this game. But me, huh. I'm still here. And I owe it all to you, my fans. So to show my gratitude and appreciation, I just want to let you know... I love You.
The introduction for Jadakiss's new mixtape I Love You, sets the perfect theme for another mixtape album.
Throughout his 17-year career, the New York rapper has never shined away from the truth, and what's real, in his music. Jada released the song in 2004 called Why?, in which Jada theorized George W. Bush's coordination in the September 11 attacks. In Why?, Jada asks Why did Bush knock down the towers?
I Love You features a more appreciative Jadakiss than his 2004 album, Kiss of Death.
After the introduction, Jadakiss and Emanny rap about a special lady that Jada wants to hold onto. In the song, he shares exactly what he lover about her, and why he's holding her down for keeps.
In I love You, Jada features artists such as Emanny, Teyana Taylor, Chynk Show, Trae Tha Truth, Rick Ross, and hip-hop partner in their group, The Lox, Styles P, in Lay em Down.
Lil Bruh follows Hold You Down. In the song, Jada teaches his 'lil bruh' lessons that he learned in his life.
Sometimes I know life can seem miserable. But lil bruh, you got a lot more living to do. You gotta go get, they aint gone give it to you... And you can never feel a love without knowing the pain.
The I Love You mixtape follows his The Champ Is Here 3 mixtape, and will lead into his next solo album, Top Five, Dead or Alive. I Love You can be downloaded for free at datpiff.
