Beyonce Knowles is undoubtedly at the peak of her music career and on top of the world. As the recent recipient of Billboard's Millennium Award on May 22, Beyonce may just be the most powerful woman in America - behind First Lady Michelle Obama, who by the way, made a film appearance at the Billboards to congratulate Beyonce.
And who knows; with Jay-Z's power in entertainment and business, America just might see Beyonce as a future First Lady. Or, could Jay-Z be the first First Man. You never know...
After receiving the Millennium Award on Sunday night, Beyonce performed her first single Who Run The World (Girls) to her upcoming album. The single is regarded as one of the most influential songs of Beyonce's career. Most recently, Beyonce has released, what many fans to believe is Beyonce's second single to her next album, Till The End of Time.
Who Run The World (Girls) and Till The End of Time are just two of the man songs to the singer-icon's newest album 4. Beyonce had ideas for titles to the new album, but she was influenced by her fans to call the album 4. Beyonce's fans named the album 4 because it is in fact her fourth solo album.
Beyonce's third album, a two-disc, I Am... Sasha Fierce was release on Nov. 14, by Columbia Records. The album has sold over 7 million albums worldwide, and her digital tracks sold more than 15 million units globally. But after the release Beyonce wanted to take a break from the studio. She said that she wanted to get inspired by new things.
Beyonce would then play a role in the film Cadillac Records, and be featured in other recording artists songs such as Lady Gaga's hit Video Phone.
With all of Beyonce's time off, fans have waited, and anticipated her new release. Beyonce says she recorded 60 potential songs for 4. Her fans are excited to see which songs she chose.
