Summer Jam 2011 has been on the minds of Hip Hop music fans since spring time air began
breezing into the East Coast. Taking place annually in New York City, the summer's
top Hip Hop concert is always fun and full of surprises. Making fans wait no further, Hot 97 radio
station announced today the official line up of the 2011 Summer Jam and it includes a monster
roster. Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and more will be performing at Summer Jam 2011.
"This is going to be a super high energy Summer Jam. Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka,
Chris Brown, Young Money Cash Money, Drake, and more [pauses]... this will be madness and the
girls will be dressed their best," said Hip Hop newcomer C.KHiD of the summer 2011 concert.
Summer Jam 2011 will indeed be a high energy roster of talent. Hip Hop music fans can expect
to hear new Lil Wayne songs from Tha Carter 4 album, see Chris Brown Dance, and Wiz Khalifa roll up.
Trailing Lil Wayne concert appearance will be Birdman and the Young Money roster. Nicki Minaj
is not on the slate but rumors are already floating she will be a surprise guest.
The official line up for Hot 97's Summer Jam concert is Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Drake,
Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, Dip Set ( Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santa, Vado ), Birdman, and the
Young Money family. The concert will take place at New Jersey's Meadowland Stadium in East
Rutherford, New Jersey.
Summer Jam by Hot 97 was one of the first major annual Hip Hop festivals in the US. Legendary
music artists such as Michael Jackson, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Eminem, Kanye West, and the Notorious BIG
performed at the event earlier.
