We present to you Doris Ogah, 26-year-old Nigerian lawyer and model who has been crowned the new queen of the West African country.

The 45th edition of the competition, named “Beyond Beauty: Reigning Together as Queens”, was held on Thursday evening at the Royal Box in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria

Doris was among 45 beauty queens who competed in the contest which was later narrowed down to 20 then later 10 finalists.

She sailed through all the stages to become the finalist in the event which was presided over by a panel of judges led by Nigerian Media Mogul and philanthropist Mo Abudu.

The ten contestants were then reduced to five after being engaged in a Q&A session.

One of the questions posted to the ten finalists was,‘‘If you win your crown tonight, how will you use your platform to address the challenges Nigerian youths face?”

Divine Nelson, Ann Eneanya, Oluwabukumi Ogunsanya, Diane Paul and Doris Ogar proceeded to the next stage of the top five where four were eliminated after more questions and scrutiny by the judges.
