Once resonating with potential in the hip-hop culture, Kodak Black is now one of hip hop’s saddest stories.

He emerged from the Soundcloud era and soon received backing and attention from Kendrick Lamar and Drake, two titans of the business. But legal issues and a recurring struggle with drug usage have clouded his path.

Kodak Black recently shared his concerns about being the next victim of a ‘hate campaign’. This is what he believes has occurred to Drake, based on his sentiments during a recent Instagram Live session. “N**gas gon’ try to do me like Drake one day,” he said.

The Cycle of Addiction and Betrayal

Every leftist hates Kodak. His belief that the industry is against him, as he states, may resonate with many artists who feel the pressure of public scrutiny.

Apart from his worries about corporate exploitation, Kodak also talked about how friendships in the rap game can be fragile.

He lamented the lack of genuine interactions and referred to many people in his nearby neighborhood as “fake”.

For musicians navigating the dangerous waters of the music industry, where loyalty may be transitory and competition severe, this feeling of betrayal is a recurrent issue.

Following that, Kodak kept making announcements. He publicly defended his drug use by claiming that it’s a typical stress-reduction strategy.

“Everybody’s getting high while we waiting to die,” he says, expressing a negative outlook on life and the world.

According to him, drug use is widespread in many areas of life, and he even hinted that his audience members are impacted.

Kodak has not previously expressed regret for his lifestyle choices. He said, “I’m never sober,” in response to followers who were pleading with him to get clean during an Instagram Live session.

His unrepentant attitude has elicited a range of reactions from fans, many of whom want to see him change to a better lifestyle. The story of Kodak Black is a sobering reminder of the difficulties and dangers that artists encounter when they are in the public eye.

Inner Demons and Outside Influence

His words paint a picture of a person struggling with inner demons, outside influences, and the complex dynamics of the music business.

His unreserved demeanor may turn off some people, but it also conveys a genuine honesty that many others can identify with.

The question yet remains: will he continue to live with the shadows of his turbulent past or will he find a way to move past them?
