Recently, Vybz Kartel was tasked with choosing the winner of Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef. Well, the dancehall maestro made a decisive decision.

And it comes out the 49-year-old musician, “don’t like Kendrick,” as he told Billboard.

“Since I don’t even listen to Kendrick, I couldn’t tell. What does he rap? I don’t listen to the guy, but I heard that online. I don’t want to irritate him.

Drake is more culturally aware of Jamaica. Drake is a more accomplished and well-known artist”

This was consistent with his December statement to Complex. “I am a lyricist, and Kendrick is a lyricist,” he said.

“However, I believe Drake’s point is universal,” Kartel reiterated.

Throughout the years, the 6 God has been an outspoken and passionate supporter of Di World Boss, and he was happy to see him released from prison in July.

“FREE UP, BOSS,Adidjaaaaaaaa!” He posted on Instagram, wearing a shirt with a portrait of Kartel.

Drake’s ‘Fighting Irish Freestyle’,LeBron Picking Sides Too?

Drake has refused to let the past be the past, even if everyone sees him as the loser in the feud.

He reflected on the conflict and the behavior of his erstwhile pals against him in a song called “Fighting Irish Freestyle” that appeared online.

He rapped “The world fell in love with the gimmicks, even my brothers got tickets/ Seemed like they loved every minute/ Just know this sh*t is personal to us, and it wasn’t just business/ Analyzin’ behavioral patterns, it’s somewhat suspicious.”

LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan, who both went to The Pop Out in June, were reportedly the targets of this.

DeRozan also made an appearance in the music video for the song “Not Like Us.”

King James was also caught on camera raving about how much he enjoyed the popular diss track after Steph Curry said he was tired of it.

Drake Dissing LeBron with His Gold Medal Celebration

The drama peaked in 2024 when the U.S. Men’s Olympic basketball team took home the gold medal. On social media, Drake, who is close to the team, praised the sportsmen, but he notably omitted one crucial figure;LeBron James.

James, despite his important role in the team’s win, was curiously absent from every joyful selfie tweeted by Drake.

This deliberate exclusion was generally viewed as a pointed message, stoking conjecture about the continued tensions between the two stars.
