American rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known by his stage name The Game, can be an unpredictable emcee.

The 45-year-old became famous in 2005 after his major-label debut album, “The Documentary,” and its 2006 follow-up, “Doctor’s Advocate.”

He’s constantly on the verge of launching a feud or complimenting someone on their contribution to his success.

It’s challenging to gauge The Game’s feelings for Kanye, as the Chicago superstar is one of his favorite targets.

However, his sentiments appeared favorable on Wednesday when The Game said he was Ye “just gave me the vibe I needed to complete #TheDocumentary3.”

Last year, the Los Angeles native announced that the project would be released on January 18, 2025, which is precisely 20 years after his debut.

But because of the wildfires that were raging in Los Angeles at the time, The Game declared that he had delayed the release.

The rapper blamed it on West’s recent interview with Download, where Kanye West had a passionate tirade in the interview.

He posted a video from the interview in which the contentious musician asserts his control over the music business.

“Y’all can play around, don’t step over the line though. Everybody, anybody, it’s up for everybody! I got bigger fish to fry, I got people to save. I ain’t even on no rap s–t, I already beat the rap s–t.” Kanye said in the video.

West continues by asserting that he has no rivals in the business, even going so far as to say that leaders such as Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group, cannot equal his impact.

How The Rant Inspired The Game

The Game shared his thoughts on the post and spoke on why he was motivated by West’s remarks.

Given how many people have questioned him during his career, he felt a connection to the Chicago rapper.

The Game’s own career has been filled with hardship, and the sentiment seemed to strike a deep chord.

He shared his own thoughts in his caption, which stated, “If you think for ya self they call you crazy. If you speak on the mistreatment of the lower tier life livers from the higher-ups they try to silence you.”

“You go against the mass agenda they try & black ball you. And if you tell the truth in a world full of lies.. you’re the liar.” He added.

Since August 2024, The Game has been hinting about The Documentary 3’s debut, and when he spoke on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast, he acknowledged that he was working on the record.

However, we can only hope that we will hear the album soon because it sounds like Kanye West has ignited a fire in The Game.
