New Shakira song “Waka Waka” aka ‘This time for Africa’ is topping the iTunes charts globally. Already the number 1 single in 8 countries on digital downloads charts, it has not hit top 10 in the United States.
An international artist, Shakira’s new hit single is sure to hit the US radio waves in time. While the wait occurs, One new rapper in the US rates the song hot. He has the new Shakira song playing in regular rotation.
“Waka Waka is cool. I’m a fan of Team Brazil in the World Cup race. I first thought the song title was saying Waka Flocka but once heard I got hooked. Shakira has a great voice and I am hunting for a video. Shout out to my college professor who left class to watch Shakira shake live in concert. He taught me how to watch her,” laughs the young rap artist.
Shakira “Waka Waka” is a tribute to the World Cup 2010 futbol games. Being held in South Africa, the worldly known event is probably least known in the United States of all major countries. Usually taking over the streets of US cities New York, Los Angeles, and Miami however, World Cup events will surely be playing the new Shakira song.
