Despite earlier telling us that her debut album will come by the end of summer, Coco Jones has revealed the date of her debut album release, and it isn’t by the end of summer.

Not only has she set a date and titled her debut album, the R&B singer has also unveiled the cover for the album.

On Thursday, February 20, she revealed that her debut album, ‘Why Not More,’ the sequel to 2022’s What I Didn’t Tell You, will be released on April 25.

She relayed this announcement through a social media post on X saying, “It’s FINALLY here,” alongside a weeping emoji.

“My DEBUT album ‘Why Not More’ is dropping 4/25 and will be available for pre-order tonight 9pm PST,” she captioned.

Jones released many tracks last year, including the hit “Here We Go (Uh Oh),” which samples Lenny Williams’ 1978 “Cause I Love You.”

The song was nominated for best R&B song and best R&B performance at this year’s Grammy awards ceremony.

Jones debut album will feature released singles like “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” as track 6, “Most Beautiful Design” as track 10, and her most recent release, “Taste,” as track 2.

Her debut album is set to release three years after her last project, “What I Didn’t Tell You,” which contained her breakout single “ICU.”

Jones Latest Single “Taste”

Following the announcement of her debut album release, Jones revealed that she’ll be dropping her single, “Taste,” today, Friday, February 21.

The new song, which is accompanied by its official music video, samples Britney Spears’ iconic 2003 hit song “Toxic” from her “In the Zone” album.

The seductive song, produced by Stargate, Jasper Harris, and Aaron Shadrow, might be Coco Jones’ sexiest to date.

Coco Jones will perform at the Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival held on March 8–9, 2025, at Hard Rock Stadium.

This music festival is a two-day event that takes place annually to celebrate Black culture through music, art, and poetry in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Jones had previously discussed her approach to her debut album in an interview with Rated R&B.

She said her EP inspired her to experiment with various sounds and genres to see how she could blend them.

She added that she felt like a scientist whose one experiment went incredibly well, so she wants to get creative and try a lot of various things.
