Hip-Hop Culture, A Basis Of Trump’s Return

After President Donald Trump’s first week in office, comedian Bill Maher has attacked Democrats for letting his popularity grow.
On Real Time with Bill Maher, Maher declared, “This is how the Democrats f***** up: Trump is cool now.”
“At 78, he’s actually kind of cool, not just the most powerful man in the world who made himself the richest!” he stated.
Maher cited athletes and rappers who expressed their admiration for the incoming administration, adding that athletes now do his popular rally dance.
In addition to the Village People, Nelly, Rick Ross, Soulja Boy, and Snoop Dogg also gave performances during the inaugural festivities.
Rep. Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, retorted that Trump has “always been a celebrity.”
Following his numerous appearances in New York tabloids and as the host of NBC’s The Apprentice, Trump rose to fame, also appearing in movies and shows.
According to ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith, “All loved him until he ran for office,” thus Democrats should take the blame for Trump’s popularity.
There are indications that MAGA isn’t simply retaking the White House but a variety of areas of society, including sports, entertainment, education, and the workplace.
The Wall Street Journal noted that “Instead of taking a knee to call for social justice, NFL players are doing the “Trump dance” in the end zone at football games.”
Eight years ago, musicians avoided performing at events commemorating Donald Trump’s inauguration, but that changed this time.
According to some political observers, Americans have become increasingly receptive to conservative viewpoints as a result of growing weary of a “cancel culture.”
This is because it is considered by some to be oppressive and unduly sensitive to race and gender identity.
The Reason For Trump’s Increased Influence
The effects of Donald Trump’s second term were already being felt around the world long before he was inaugurated as the 47th president.
His electoral triumph and the expectation of a new Trump agenda altered the calculations of international leaders in Jerusalem, Kyiv, London, and Ottawa, with some far-reaching effects.
Even in hip-hop now, Trump has managed to earn the respect of artists and athletes, which, according to Professor Derrick Darby of Rutgers University, was fueled by influence, money, and power.
President Trump formerly enjoyed the respect and adoration of people of color, but even though at one point he lost it, it appears that he has regained it at this time.
The intersection of political philosophy and hip-hop specialists noted that if Trump is “cool again,” it’s because the hip-hop community is fine with whatever he’s doing.
