Snoop Dogg Shows Respect For Lamar After Halftime Show

Snoop, who upset Lamar during his feud with Drake the previous year by seeming to back the 6 God, recorded himself at home while he watched the concert.
He used Instagram Live to share his reactions as he talked about K.Dot before the event.
Once the show began, he increased the adoration, making it clear that he was rooting for his fellow Californian, saying, “The West Coast is the shit, you hear me? Get ’em, Dot. Get ’em, nephew.”
Snoop, who was obviously enjoying the show, also rapped along to “HUMBLE,” indicating that Lamar’s talent blew him away.
Halfway through Lamar’s set, Snoop Dogg was convinced he was witnessing a historic showcase.
“Go head, nephew! He just moved up,” he told his followers. “He top three Super Bowl all-performers right now; he might be number one. If he do that record, he number one.”
The fact that Snoop and Kendrick Lamar performed at a Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022 speaks volumes.
Snoop Dogg stood by his praise when the halftime Show ended. “The G.O.A.T. hands down,” he announced. “Leave him the f*ck alone.”
Reactions from Other Rappers to Lamar’s Halftime Show Performance
Depending on who you ask, Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show was a contentious subject.
Several people thought the rapper’s performance was hectic and overreacted, while others thought his performance was a historic moment in Super Bowl history.
Most rappers fell under the second category as they took to social media to express their love for one of their own.
SZA, who sang duets of “All the Stars” and “Luther” with Kendrick, thanked her former TDE labelmate for allowing her to be part of the show.
“THANK YOU, @kendricklamar, for consistently putting the world on your back. At all times. Thank you for lifting me up. Thank you for encouraging me and being so willing to bend to whatever I may need. Thank you to your incredible team and mine!” she posted on Instagram.
“K DOT (OK hand emojis and fire emojis) killed it!!!!” was another comment made on X by Kendrick’s longtime friend and collaborator Jay Rock.
Doechii, another TDE star, added, “Congratulations SZA and Kendrick! So proud of yall so inspired.”
Terrence “Punch” Henderson, the president of TDE and longtime manager of SZA, tweeted, “Great night. Super proud watching Dot take the biggest stage. And then to bring SZA out was everything. Another moment. Historic.”
Another fan of the show was Jermaine Dupri, who appeared as a guest during Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show last year.
He wrote on X: “Dope performance, no back track, breath control, choreography, skits, straight rap shit.”
An astonished Chris Brown simply wrote on his Instagram Stories accompanied by a fire emoji, “WOW!!!!!!!!!!! DOT.”
Killer Mike, another native of Atlanta, praised the performance’s purity as well, stating, “And That Was That ‘RAP SHIT. Wow, brilliant.”
Ben Stiller, Magic Johnson, and NFL star Deion Sanders were among the non-hip-hop celebrities who praised Kendrick’s Super Bowl halftime performance.
