Memphis Shooting Leaves Sayso P Dead, Sauce Walka Injured

Sauce Walka and his artist Sayso P were shot in Memphis on Saturday. While Sauce Walka is recovering and in stable condition, Sayso P didn’t survive his injuries.
The shooting happened outside the Westin Hotel, near the FedExForum, a busy area that hosts big events.
According to local news, the shooting happened at the corner of Second Street and Lt. George W. Lee Avenue. The Memphis police and ambulances quickly arrived at the scene.
Witnesses described chaos when the shooting happened, saying Walka and Sayso had been shopping downtown before the attack.
A video from the crime scene shows Walka standing near a police car with flashing lights. The footage also captures multiple police cars and ambulances responding to the scene.
People on social media are speculating about who was behind the attack and why. Meanwhile, police are searching for a white vehicle they think the shooters used.
This shooting is the latest in a series of shooting incidents involving rappers this week.
Yella Beezy, a Texas rapper, was charged with paying someone to kill another rapper, Mo3, in 2020. The charges say Beezy planned the murder with the shooter, Kewon White.
White shot Mo3 on the highway near the Dallas Zoo in November 2020, and Mo3 died at the scene.
Sauce Walka is a Houston-based rapper known for his influence on the underground hip-hop scene. He rose to fame through his “Sauce” movement and has collaborated with notable artists like Travis Scott and Chief Keef.
Police are still looking into what happened and why the shooting occurred.
Condolences
Fans quickly took to social media to share their sadness and find out more about the incident.
One social media user reacted to the news, saying, “Can’t no rappers go to Memphis.”
Another user commented on the recent violence, saying, “Rappers had a bad week this week.”
While fans express their condolences, the hip-hop community are standing together to support each other through tough times.
Recent violence in the music industry shows that something needs to change. Many people want hip-hop to focus more on supporting each other and staying safe, instead of letting violence take over.
Artists should work to create a more positive and supportive environment.
The community hopes for justice for Sayso P and a quick recovery for Sauce Walka as the investigation continues.
