Rapper Dajua Blanding, better known as Dank Demoss, has sparked conversation once again.

She posted a bold photoshoot on TikTok and the internet went into flames.

In the pictures, she rocked a curly, bright pink wig with matching round glasses and a beige bikini. One of her poses even showed her playfully pulling at the waistband of her bikini bottoms.

Her small, light brown dog was by her side in most of the shots. It wore a pink outfit that matched her wig.

Some fans loved her confidence and style. Others felt the photos were a bit too provocative, sparking yet another debate around her.

Blanding has always been open about body image and self-acceptance.

Back in 2017, she posted a nude photo on social media which sparked mixed reactions.

Some praised it as empowering, while others raised concerns about the health risks of her size.

Some also started making harsh and personal attacks, criticising Blanding just for showing her body.

Social media was flooded with comments. One user questioned, “I’m not trying to be mean, but how can you breathe and actually feel good at that size?”

They added, “Like, what if you have asthma and you’re that big?”

Another person commented, “This isn’t great, but it’s definitely interesting to see how durable the human body is. Like, how does the body even change like this and still function?”

Even with support from fans, the backlash was too much.

Blanding deleted the photos, leaving only a behind-the-scenes video.

But the negative comments didn’t stop, with people criticising her weight and bringing up her past Lyft incident.

Blanding’s Court Case With a Lyft Driver

Back in January, Dajua Blanding, who weighs nearly 500 pounds, sued Lyft for discrimination.

A driver had refused to give her a ride, saying his car couldn’t handle her size.

She recorded the argument, showing them going back and forth about whether she could fit.

In the video, the driver told Blanding, “Believe me, you can’t,” when she insisted she could fit in his car.

He said she wouldn’t be charged for the trip, but she still decided to sue Lyft for discrimination.

Talking to Fox 2, Blanding said, “I’ve been in cars smaller than that.”

After Blanding shared the video on Instagram, many people took the driver’s side. They said she should have ordered a larger XL ride.

One commenter wrote, “It’s against the law to overload a car.”

They pointed out that the driver was polite, explained his reasons, and even apologised.

They also told Blanding, “Try seeing things from another’s perspective.”

The lawsuit brought a mix of reactions. Some people criticised her, while others supported her, believing it was an important issue for plus-size people.

Lyft released a statement saying they “strongly oppose all forms of discrimination.”

The company also reminded people that their rules strictly ban harassment or discrimination.
