“Wiz Khalifa has the best hip hop concert I have seen in a long time. Too many rappers have become Hollywood gangsters and Wiz Khalifa brings back the liberal feel of being who you are. He Kicks street music but has commercial appeal. And of course, the weedheads love him,” says CKHID team leader, C.KHiD.
Wiz Khalifa is deifnitely one of today’s biggest new Hip Hop music acts. Over 2.5 million google searches include his name in it monthly and anything released on youtube has a chance of going platinum in views. Music videos like Wiz Khalifa’s ATL Freestyle has received over 1.8 million views since the beginning of 2010, totaling 2 million total.
Other stand out accomplishments from Wiz Khalifa might surprise many music fans. Independently the Pittsburgh Sound artist topped iTunes with album Deal or No Deal, had over 1 million downloads to “Kush and OJ” mixtape, and sold out 47 of 50 shows on his last otur.
Currently on his new Hip Hop tour, Wiz Khalifa is again selling out venues. Spreading faster virally than fire in a dry California forest, he’s quickly passing rappers currently signed to major record labels.
As radio stations fight with playing a Hip Hop artist that’s not signed to majors, people are not. Loading up their Mp3 players and burned CD collections with Wiz Khalifa music, the Taylor Gang boss sits back planning his next move. Probably zoned out to the aroma of Mary jane, the high IQ rapper has not taken a loss yet.
