Meek Mill Mocked For Tiktok Ownership Suggestion
Meek Mill is in an awful spot with his online presence. He keeps on trying to entice and produce new music to satisfy fans.
Yet the only way he can seem to gather momentum nowadays is by uttering something out of the ordinary.
The rapper has become an online object of ridicule, and it is clear he doesn’t know why. Meek Mill fails to go for any length of time without getting attention with a unique perspective.
He had opinions to express about the Presidential race that just concluded, didn’t go well.
Similar for the Drake and Kendrick Lamar rap beef.
Now, he’s taking his unorthodox outlook and implementing it to TikTok.
The Tiktok Dilemma
TikTok is in uncertainty at the moment.
The Chinese app is at risk of being outlawed in the United States unless it sells to another buyer.
Elon Musk has been mentioned as a buyer.
Meek Mill chose to put his name out there, as well.
“Sell TikTok to me,” he tweeted on Monday night.
No clarification, not even on what he’d do if he got it.
“If they cut off tik tok we going x and FANBASE,” the rapper claimed in a follow up tweet.
It didn’t take much time for the ridiculing to start rolling in.
“Meek Mill pls im not in the mood rn,” one user tweeted out.
It immediately became a running joke to call the app “MeekTok” in an alternate universe where Meek could genuinely get a sale through.
Meek Mill should have an improved grip on business than he shows off.
The rapper was brought under the leadership of both Michael Rubin and JAY-Z.
He even acknowledged the impact that JAY had on his understanding of business during an interview with Business Insider.
“He actually built something,” Meek Mill stated.
“I watched it, and I studied that, that’s why I’m working the way I’m working now to build a foundation for myself too.”
Meek also commented on his music, although his soundbite proved more predictive for his tweets than his songs.
“I’m just trying to figure out how I’ll come back and impress the people,” he stated.
“Keep people intrigued with what I have to say.”
Rapper’s Attempt to Relate to LA Wildfire Victims Falls Flat
Meek Mill hasn’t solely concentrated on his business grind, either.
The rapper sought to send his best to people impacted by the L.A. wildfires.
Instead of offering prayers and calling it a day, Meek tried to communicate genuine experiences.
It didn’t work.
Fans felt the rapper was trying to make the tragedy about himself and asked him to keep it short and sweet next time.
