In 2025, the music industry is celebrating women’s impact, honouring five top agents for their amazing work.

These top agents Jenna Adler, Lucy Dickins, Samantha Kirby Yoh, Cara Lewis, and Marsha Vlasic shape the live music industry.

Samantha Kirby Yoh, UTA’s co-head of global music, has helped LCD Soundsystem stage major shows.

She also co-founded She Is The Music to support women in the industry. She’s known for creative career-building.

Jenna Adler, a top CAA agent, helps artists thrive on tour. She signed Deftones early on and now works with stars like Green Day and Charli XCX.

Recently in Dubai with Jennifer Lopez, Lucy Dickins, WME’s head of contemporary music and global touring, played a key role in creating Adele Arena.

The massive venue in Munich was built specifically for Adele’s 2024 shows. Coming from a well-known music family, she’s expanded WME’s reach.

She’s trusted in the industry for putting artists first and shaping their long-term success.

Marsha Vlasic, co-chair at Independent Artist Group, represents legends like Neil Young, The Strokes, and Iggy Pop.

Known for tough negotiations, she’s helped shape rock and alternative music.

Cara Lewis, founder of the Cara Lewis Group, has been a major player in hip-hop for decades.

She was given a shoutout in Eric B. & Rakim’s song “Paid in Full” back in 1987.

Cara helped launch Eminem’s touring career and now represents Travis Scott and Ice Spice. She remains a powerhouse in rap and R&B.

These five women aren’t just top agents. They’re shaping the concert industry, helping artists grow, reach new markets, and make a lasting impact on music.

Billboard Women in Music Award

Billboard Women in Music is a yearly event that celebrates women in the music industry.

It started in 2007 to celebrate women making a big impact in the music industry.

The main award, Woman of the Year, honours female artists for their success and influence. It is given to someone who has made a big impact in music.

The award also honours those who inspire other women.

Reba McEntire was the first winner of the Woman of the Year award.

Taylor Swift is the only artist to win it twice, in 2011 and 2014.

Over time, the event has added more categories, like Rising Star and Icon, to recognise different achievements, etc.

It also honours industry leaders with awards like Executives of the Year.

Lady Gaga won Rising Star in 2009, and Ariana Grande received it in 2014.

In 2025, Doechii was named Woman of the Year, joining past winners like SZA and Karol G.

The awards celebrate how women are shaping the music industry.
