New Kanye West Album Unnamed

Kanye West is anticipated to release his fifth album, which is said to be complete, however West has yet to title the album nor has he set a release date. He has released several exclusive tracks in the G.O.O.D. Fridays series however he can’t tell us when his new album will hit shelves. Several titles has been suggested for the album such as “Good Ass Job” or “Dark Twisted Fantasy” but nothing has been made official. It is rumored that a possible release date may be November 22, 2010. However, according to Kanye West’s twitter account Kanye affirms that he is still undecided.If November 22 turns out to be the true release date of Kanye West’s new album this could work in West’s favor as this will be the largest shopping day in the country, Black Friday.

Kanye West’s new album will feature artists such as Jay-Z, Mos Def, Swizz Beats, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and John Legend. $3 million has been reportedly been spent making West’s upcoming album. A short film that is included in the album, shot in Prague, is also included in the costs. Kanye West is also planning to release a 5 song EP in collaboration with Jay-Z and it is not clear how the release date of this album will effect the EP.

Kanye West may be competing with other artists such as Nicki Minaj and Lloyd Banks who are both releasing albums on November 23, 2010. It is unlikely that Kanye will wait until next year to release his new album.
