Francis Ngannou and Cristiano Ronaldo Friendship
If there is one African celebrity who is closer to Portuguese football icon Christiano Ronaldo, it’s Cameroonian fighter Francis Ngannou
The two have been inseparable lately.
They have been spotted on several occasions hanging out together and even supporting each other in their respective sporting events.
When Ngannou earned his latest crown in the PFL in October this year, Ronaldo was there in the front row to cheer up and witness his friend deliver a jaw-dropping first round knockout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Christiano Ronaldo keenly watched his friend deliver incredibly powerful punches to the totally helpless opponent who was already on the ground but didn’t start to celebrate until the referee ended the fight.
Ronaldo then started cheering and even went to mix with the crowd.
Also, when Nganou lost his first son early this year, Ronaldo, who has been in a similar state offered emotional support and encouragement to his friend.
Ngannou Gets Some Collectibles From Christiano Ronaldo
Yesterday, Nganou was in Saudi Arabia to watch a boxing match between his former opponent Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk in a three belt match at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
But before he could make it to the venue, the boxing star was seen hanging out with his friend Ronaldo.
In a video posted on Nganou’s social media pages, Christano Ronaldo is seen signing a number of jerseys which he then hands over to Francis.
According to the post they even had dinner together at Christiano Ronaldo’s home and Francis thanked him for the dinner.
Francis captioned the post “Getting some collectibles for my collection from the man himself, cristiano. Thank you brother for dinner.”
The comments section were filed by fans who were happy for him while others were also jealous of his friendship with the football icon.
Their Careers
Both Christiano Ronaldo and Francis Nganou have had incredible careers as a footballer and fighter respectively.
Ronaldo has earned almost every accolade there is to be earned in the world of sports, especially football, similar to Francis in his career.
Christiano Ronaldo currently plays for and captains both the Portugal national team and Saudi Pro league club Al Nassr.
The cameroonian fighter on the other hand currently competes in the Heavyweight division of the Professional Fighters League (PFL), where he is the inaugural PFL Super Fights Heavyweight Champion
