The first set of options for Bugatti’s ground-breaking Tourbillon hypercar has been made public. The already remarkable car is made even more beautiful with the Équipe Pur Sang package.

The Équipe Pur Sang name, which translates as “Thoroughbred Team” in French, pays tribute to Bugatti’s legendary racing past.

The package honors the business’s heyday in motorsport, which includes wins at Le Mans and the first Monaco Grand Prix.

The most eye-catching upgrade appears at the rear, where the standard exhaust configuration explodes from two trapezoidal tips to eight perfectly round pipes. A naval battleship-like visual spectacle is produced by this dramatic arrangement.

Bugatti’s efforts went beyond exhaust showmanship. A dedicated front splitter that looks sharp enough to cut through air with surgical precision is introduced in the package.

Improved aerodynamic efficiency is achieved using a custom rear wing with short endplates. These winglets improve high-speed stability while visually connecting the Tourbillon to Bugatti’s racing lineage.

Downforce capabilities are further enhanced by the unique rear diffuser. This component works in harmony with the other aerodynamic modifications to improve the car’s planted stance during high-speed maneuvers.

Another unique feature of the package is the newly designed directional wheels. These have distinct dimensions: the front is 20 inches and the back is 21 inches.

The wheels showcase long, thin spokes that reduce turbulence and enhance airflow. This engineering detail improves cooling to the rear radiator by approximately eight percent.

Inside, performance seats wrapped in full Alcantara upholstery come standard with the package. These feature differently sized specifications – 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear.

Inside, performance seats wrapped in full Alcantara upholstery come standard with the package.

These provide enhanced lateral support during aggressive cornering at speeds that would challenge fighter jets.

Distinctive Équipe Pur Sang embroidery adorns the dashboard and seat headrests. The cabin also receives Black Poli interior trim and the Medium Carbon Fiber Interior Package.

Bugatti maintains the Tourbillon’s incredible hybrid powertrain unchanged. With 1,800 combined horsepower, there was clearly no need for additional performance enhancements.

The Engineering Marvel Behind the Theatrics

The heart of the Tourbillon remains its naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 engine producing 1,000 horsepower, an engineering masterpiece that revs to an astounding 9,000 rpm without turbocharging.

Three electric motors contribute an additional 800 horsepower to the equation. The combined system delivers earth-shattering acceleration and a targeted top speed of 276 mph.

Performance figures border on the unbelievable: zero to sixty in two seconds flat. The sprint to 124 mph takes under five seconds, while 186 mph arrives in less than ten.

Despite its extraordinary power output and sophisticated hybrid system, the Tourbillon weighs less than its predecessor.

This remarkable achievement comes from extensive use of T800 carbon composite materials.

Bugatti’s meticulous attention to detail extends to the instrument cluster. Created by Swiss watchmakers, this mechanical artwork features over 600 components built to timepiece tolerances.

Customers can configure their Tourbillon at Château Saint Jean in Molsheim or at Bugatti partners worldwide. The process represents automotive co-creation at its most exclusive level.

The extensive customization options include 23 exterior colors, 20 leather choices, 10 Alcantara selections, and seven carpet options. Combinations are virtually limitless for the 250 fortunate customers.

Bugatti has not disclosed pricing for the Équipe Pur Sang package. However, it will certainly add substantially to the Tourbillon’s already staggering $4.1 million base price.

The engineering refinements in the package aren’t merely aesthetic. Every component serves a performance purpose while simultaneously elevating the visual drama of this extraordinary machine.

For customers seeking the ultimate expression of Bugatti’s racing heritage in a modern hypercar, the Équipe Pur Sang package delivers automotive excess in the most magnificent way possible.
