As Cardi B and Offset wisely professed in their latest hit single about this new generation, people “Do Anything for Clout.” Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has become the biggest symbol of this phenomenon. He is next to none. Boonk Gang does not even hold a candle flame to this now extinguished ‘star.’ After a number of his co-defendants plead guilty for a shorter sentencing term, there’s more news. According to DJ Akademiks, the entire kidnapping and life-threatening situation [read here] was also set up by 6ix9ine.
Faker than a 3 Dollar Bill
Lil Ak, former friend of 6ix9ine has released some sort of transcript that reveals conversations between the FBI and attorney of his ‘kidnapper.’ The defense professional is named Devereaux Cannix. He says Tekashi set up the whole robbery and kidnapping with his client, Anthony Ellison. The scheme was a promotional stunt for his coming album, “Dummy Boy.” Unfortunately, it drew too much heat from the Feds. The marketing idea may have been the worst thing that could have happened to theTr3Way gang affiliates of 69.
“No robbery or kidnapping or assault happened,” reads the transcript provided by Akademiks. In it, the lawyer continues, “He was about to drop another album… gotta get that buzz up. That’s how he makes money.”
At this point, Ellison does not have much reason to lie. On top of this, much of the Hip-Hop world was already speculating this at the time of the robbery and set up. However, in all fairness, it could still be a lie.
If it is a lie…
If these men who committed the robbery are lying, it will likely have to all play out in court in a few weeks. 6ix9ine will have to face these men and testify against them in court around this time. The ‘BeBe’ rapper will have to clarify all his accusations. After that, deny his part in what’s going on, along with full explanations. Tekashi will have to point fingers and describe everything he saw and heard during such times.
The FBI believes the kidnapping may have been staged as well. The Bureau does not care much about it however, as it is not the ‘nail in the coffin’ they are looking for in this case. However, according to the defense attorney, the car Ellion & the other kidnappers drove to kidnap 6ix9ine was wiretapped. The vehicle was bugged by the Feds long before the event happened. Everything that happened that night is on tape.
One can only imagine what Tekashi’s thinking in jail as the world reads of his doings. His ultimate goal was to get famous, which he did, but it was so short lived it’s almost already forgotten. And the money is surely near dissolved, eaten by his so-called girlfriend and legal team. The story has become a long read and lesson for anyone who’s thinking about what this rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez [see him before fame] did to get famous.
