The Victim of Tee Grizzley shooting
Few may have known this but Tee Grizzley kept his music business very much within the family. His aunt, Jobina ‘JB’ Brown, managed his career throughout his success. Real name, Terry Sanchez Wallace Jr, the rapper’s aunt was a solid role player in helping him make and manage millions of dollars through Hip-Hop.
At the time of her death, Jobina was 41-years-old. She was sitting in the left side of the car, when struck by 3 to 4 fatal shots, of a barrage fired. Detroit Police’s homicide unit is fully investigating the incident.
Who were the bullets for?
At this point, speculation is heavy. about the Tee Grizzley shooting. No facts have been stated. However, it is clear someone was stalking the car and knew TG was in it. The rapper and his aunt were in the section of 3 mile drive in his hometown.
According to Local News station, ClickOnDetroit, Grizzley was sitting in the car with his Aunt talking with 2 other men inside the car. After conversing, the rapper exited the car. Someone saw this as an opportunity to ‘deliver a message’ likely. They fired several shots at the car, just after. No robbery took place so the motive was likely more intricate than a random incident.
Some reports a person approached the car on foot. That unknown person drew his weapon and shot up the automobile. Others say the gunshots came from a distant shooter of unknown origin. Judging by stories of one victim catching up to 4 bullets, it’s believed over double this amount of rounds were fired into the Chrysler 300.
Two other men were also inside the car. They too survived the incident. Once the car was hit and the group saw Grizzley’s aunt bleeding, they drove away. Police met the car in the area of Buckingham and Mack Avenue in Detroit.
Several entertainers are paying their respects on social media to the rapper for his loss.
